Limited Edition Digital Prints
MiLand is a series of collaged images I’ve taken while exploring Vancouver Island. As a graphic artist I use the photo collage technique extensively. This series allows me to play with combined images to portray the mystery and wonder of Vancouver Island, rather than simply it’s natural beauty.
All MiLand prints are limited editions of 10. This forces me to continue exploring new ways to transform Vancouver Island images into abstracted impressions. Created ‘spur of the moment’, these prints are more like accidents rather than planned art prints. It makes them extremely fun for me to create and hopefully results in an image you can enjoy for years.

These images were shot with an iPhone on a rainy day at Chesterman Beach and on Frank Island, my favourite spots in the Tofino area (along with Tuff City Brewery).

Camping just south of Port McNeill Lynne and I were fortunate to have the opportunity to cruise up Knight Inlet early in the AM to see Grizzly Bears in Glendale Cove. To top off the day we enjoyed watching this spectacular evening sunset present itself. Not a bad day on Vancouver Island.

This image was inspired on the same trip up Knight Inlet. The ride from Telegraph Cove up Knight Inlet on flat calm water in the early AM was as enjoyable as seeing the grizzly bears in Glendale Cove.

Viewing Grizzly Bears from a small skiff is an amazing experience. The spectacular scenery of Knight Inlet really caps off the experience.
Snow Salmon - 6" x 6"
I've always been fascinated with the aftermath of a salmon migration up the Puntledge River. I've taken photos at all stages of the end of the migration. Walking the river in the winter offered up this little gem.
